I'm tired of people asking me the same question over and over if am pregnant? Some people are so insensitive of other people feelings. Can't they see that we're hurting everytime they ask us? I'm more hurting because I can see the pain in my husband's eyes everytime they ask us.
Yeah, they keep telling us that they are just concerned because we're not getting any younger. Don't they think I'm not aware of that? But what can we do? We've been trying hard these past few months but still no positive results. I went to an ob-gyne already and asked for medical advices. But I realize, why should we pressure ourselves just to please them to hear the words "YES, I'M PREGNANT!" Of course, we want to have a baby but we're not hurrying ourselves.
I just hope that they will realize that we're not comfortable asking us the same question everyday. And if ever I'm pregnant I will be happy to announce it to the world! They don't have to ask.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time. I work in a fertility centre and hear these stories all the time. People can be very insensitive and not even realize it. Everyone thinks they have the answer but if they havent been in the same situation they really have no idea whats its like or how upsetting it can be.

I am so sorry. Some ppl are just insensitive like Tray says, and all you can really do sometimes is try to ignore them. I hope things work out for you and your husband.

ReplyDeleteWell sure hope you feel better know after you wrote it down. I feel better after writing it on paper. Writing songs about the girl of my dreams got me over her. And whenever something annoys me... I write it in my journal and the funny ones come in my blog xD
